Learn about the murderesses, madams, and molls from Michigan's Malevolent Past in this lecture by freelance author Tobin T. Buhk.

Buhk will give us a peek behind the walls of the old Detroit House of Correction, the only Michigan prison to house female inmates serving long-term sentences. There we will meet some of the most dangerous women in Michigan history: a serial poisoner, a mother who did the unthinkable, a wife who used an axe to sever her marriage, the Queen of the Underworld, and more. Join us to learn more about the dangerous women from Michgan's history!
