Yoga for Kids

Children ages 5 to 7 are encouraged to "play" yoga and experience how their breath and body move together in a fun-filled way! Please register each child separately, and bring a yoga mat or towel.

Children will improve strength, flexibility and coordination, and learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing, visualization and relaxation techniques. They will also learn about respect, for self and others, with the practice of fun poses, partner poses and lots of yoga games.

For the safety of our librarians and your fellow program attendees, we ask that anyone who is experiencing symptoms of illness to please refrain from attending library programs in person. Thank you for your cooperation.
