Bismah Khan, MA, LLP, a psychologist, discusses a range of conditions that fall under neurodiversity, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, dyscalculia, and other learning disorders.
Khan, MA, LLP is a limited licensed psychologist who works with individuals of various ages on concerns such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma, eating disorders, family conflict, self-esteem, and social skills. She explores both the strengths and challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals in areas like impulse control, thinking styles, processing, and executive functioning. Neurodiversity refers to the diverse ways some brains process information, learn, and behave compared to neurotypical individuals. At the end, she discusses effective ways to support neurodivergent individuals.
Join Bismah Khan in person to learn more about neurodiversity. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Wayne State University, and completed her internship at Wayne State’s Mental Health and Wellness Center and Children’s Hospital of Michigan’s General Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Clinic.
