The Association for the Advancement of Deaf/Hard of Hearing has been in operation for 6 years, serving the Deaf communities of Detroit in many ways, from having accessible Life Skills Trainings like cooking classes to afterschool tutoring classes for Deaf youth. In addition to hosting programs and community events, AADHH also offers scholarships for Deaf/ Hard-of-Hearing high school graduates and those furthering their education to attend college or work training programs. AADHH also offers Community ASL classes and has a Transitional/Community Hub located in Detroit. You can learn more about AADHH and their programs by following them on Facebook and Instagram. The American Sign Language classes offered today will be teen and beginner friendly.
