This presentation explores the history of LGBTQ+ Pride, from Stonewall to the growth of Pride events in Michigan, through the lived experiences of LGBTQ+ elders.

Join MiGen – Michigan’s LGBTQ+ Elders Network for Generations of Pride: LGBTQ+ Elders and Community Care, presented by Silvy Villalobos (she/they), Program Coordinator at MiGen. MiGen is Michigan’s only nonprofit dedicated to advocacy, services, and community support for LGBTQ+ maturing and older adults, their loved ones, and caregivers. Attendees will learn how Pride has shaped community building and advocacy across generations and discover ways to engage with MiGen’s programs, resources, and opportunities to support LGBTQ+ older adults statewide.Image of white N in orange box.
